My Ideal Weight

I got to sleep in a little this morning, which was a good thing. I was pretty tired. After a slow start and two pots of coffee,  I was able to get a great chest and ab workout. Nothing like doing crunches to Maynard Fergusons theme from Rocky. 
Post workout breakfast of 2 eggs, piece of chicken sausage and a piece of Dave's bread with butter and honey. Followed up with a protein shake. I am playing the national anthem in a couple of hours and I dont like playing on empty. 
Weighed in at 184.5 this morning.  I have been thinking recently about medical ideal weight numbers. I have always rejected them as unrealistic,  but what if I am wrong? My ideal weight window is in the 160ish area..another 20 lbs or so. I wonder if I should aim for that? If I got busy I could hit that by mid December.  That would put me at my medical ideal weight for my next PSA. Sort of a "hail mary" play, so to speak.
The hardest part will be navigating social eating events. I have a birthday dinner tonight and am supposed to head over to a friends on Sunday which always involves a heavy meal. I think I can compensate for it though. 
I also need to back off on nut butter snacks..I am pretty hard on the peanut butter and almond butter jars...
I think this is worth a shot.
